Something that is more conceptual but plays such a crucial role is the ‘energy level’ of a track. How does one determine what ‘energy level’ a track possesses?

Platinum kills the soul of your music… it destroy all its dynamics… I can’t believe a renewed DJ promote this app… clearly clueless when it comes to sound quality… just press play and nod…

Don’t take my word for it… apply platinum to it and compare it to the original… all dynamics gone… just the typical compressed muffled sound.

Rekordbox analyzes tracks and automatically gives you BPM and Key in Kamelot format. No need for Mix in Key.

I have a better idea. Buy tracks you like and then don't mess up with all the tools in the middle. IMO these companies like mixed in key are making money because of digital era, but djing will always remain analog - you have to hear the music so you present it to audience's hearing again.

Back to my point though. You have the music, mark all and analyze them so cdjs don't have to and then... Surprisingly... Go practicing and enjoy the routine. After you are done and you remeber nice blends, rekordbox (probably serato as well) writes down the history of all tracks you played (yes played. It does not log the tracks you only cue but dont play eventually cuz they dont fit). Then make a whole picture and go get a gig to present final set ffs

Harmony mixing is good for podcast and radio shows, but in case of live performances it reduces your opportunities.

You do know that there's eq's on the mixer to change high mids and lows to make the tracks louder/quieter. You rekordbox dj's are pure weak anything to make it easier minimal effort = minimal reward.

Way to many steps in that process
At least drop MiK and platinum nodes - all DJ software can do this too. MiK and PN may do it slightly better, but not nearly enough to keep them in the process
