I’m so anxious that I’m doing all this at 30 weeks! Wishing the best for all the mamas giving birth in 2021! Stay safe!

Great list! As a mom of two I just wanted to add for any first time moms, cut yourself a lot of slack! I know in Instagram it looks like the newborn phase is so easy and breezy. For a lot of us it's not! But you'll figure it out and adjust to your new normal. I didn't feel like myself until 7 months in to be honest.
I would also reccomend looking up postpartum depression symptoms with your partner so you can both hopefully recognize if these are things you are experiencing. No shame! You are still an amazing mom!

You’re the ONLY person that has mentioned plans for pets. I have everything else in the works to be ready, but for some reason the dog and lizard completely slipped my mind. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Omg the story about your dog gaining weight kinda made me chuckle 😂
Thank you for this video. I have PCOS and no gallbladder.. had been on birth control religiously and just found out I was 8 MONTHS pregnant!! Such an exciting time and surprise. I truly didn’t know I was pregnant since I was told it was impossible and I always had a rumbling in my tummy due to no gallbladder .. I’m so excited to be a mom soon but taking a crash course in what to expect! God bless you all ❤

PACK YOUR HOSPITAL BAG was a hugeeee one for me, so right! A few weeks into the third trimester, I had an emergency c-sec so my husband kept going back and forth because there were things I forgot to ask him for; if we were prepared, he’d have more time with us - you just don’t know what will happen in the third trimester.
I’m prepping for my second but I wish I found this channel when I had my first - This channel is definitely one of the best, very informative, explained easily, reflects on previous experience and is straightforward

This is the video I’ve needed! First time mom. Every time I ask other moms for advice, they all say, “you’ll just know.” “It’ll come natural.” “You’ll figure your baby out.” Which I’m sure is all true, but also some guidance would help! Due May 2021 and I didn’t realize how unprepared I am!

My husband thinks I was crazy for purchasing a breastfeeding course but it helped me a TON. I don’t think I would have been able to breastfeed my daughter if it weren’t for that course. It even helped me create my birth plan so that I did have a positive breastfeeding experience from the start. It’s so important to know what you want in the hospital and be able to confidently tell the doctors and nurses what you want. I’m expecting baby number 2 now and I feel super confident and I’m excited to create my birth plan again. :)

I took my son to the grocery store by myself for the first time when he was like a month old and I called my husband at work in a panic because I couldn’t figure out how to get his car seat out of the base 🤣. And I was also someone who prepared in all the wrong ways - researched heavily about all of the “stuff” that we needed instead of looking into how to actually care for the baby. Breastfeeding was so so hard for me and I wish I had already picked out a lactation consultant & a dentist to help with his tongue tie, etc so I didn’t have to worry about researching while exhausted. Another piece of advice I wish I had was to arrange for help not only for when the baby is first born but for when your partner goes back to work (if that’s your situation). My mom took off the week my son was born to help us but my husband was still home and we were doing ok, so I think next time I’m going to ask her to take off the week that my husband goes back to work.

I echo what many others are saying. This video is fantastic, and so incredibly informative! I’m 35 weeks. I have been scrambling to get organized before baby arrives, but I have felt clueless and unsure of what to do. Your video is jammed packed with great information and you laid it out so clearly. I know this has helped many first time moms, including myself! I will watch again and take detailed notes. :) thank you so much! I’m so grateful!

I'm due august 2021. Only 1 week and i'll be entering the third trimester. My son and my little girl are like 8 years apart. So it's like starting all over again. I'm so glad I came across this video. Just so I can have a checklist..

Another thing that goes along with the car mirror and car related is a window shade! I've heard a lot of people regret not installing some sort of shade if you have your baby in the summer or a sunny day. Hopefully this helps expecting mamas
