The attention to detail in this show is phenomenal. At 7:58, Appa is lifting himself up on the elevator so as to not make it too heavy for Toph/Aang to lift quickly.

16:15 that level of creativity is what most writers dream of. The set the rules for this universe and then put in a character that abides by those rules and still absolutely destroys. She literally made a metal harness completely surrounding her body since she doesnt need to see which makes her invulnerable and starts annhhilating everyone in that room. goosebumps

I like how at 5:45 even though they're bending the same substance, Toph is using an earth bending stance and Katara is using water bending. I know it's because it's water and dirt (mud) but it's so cool.

7:32 at this time stamp toph had no auditory indicator that these giant statues were incoming from the gang. Either she with her sesmic sense felt the people all the way at the top start to throw these giant statues or (which i find even cooler) she sensed that aang was positioning his body into a stance that suggested a need for a big defensive cocoon and she trusted her instincts and went along with aang to create the other section of the earth cocoon. Either or she’s awesome.

The scene where Toph tries to keep the library from sinking while still aimlessly trying to protect Appa really got me. Toph was torn and felt really guilty about not being able to protect Appa. Then in a scene in Fire, the one where the gaang was on Ember Island, she effortlessly created a model of Ba Sing Se on sand, showing she learned to control sand after Appa's capture.

Toph is the Ubermensch. She's the greatest, and she knows it. She fails, but she always gets back up, and always tries to be better. She oozes confidence and calls her shots. She's compassionate, curious, and creative. She's snarky but has a heart of gold.
