Also be careful not to bring prohibited items back onto the ship from your excursion. 5 years ago we went on the Bob Marley Excursion..( Didn't expect that you can actually buy herb from the locals btw) One of the guys on our excursion did and tried to bring it back to the ship. The Drug dog sniffed it out and it was confiscated...Don't know what happened to the guy.

Rather than breaking up the fight go get security…because you may be put it the same no cruise forever place even though you were doing something good.

I got busted once because there was a travel iron in one of my suitcase pockets that I forgot about. Had to go get my bag from the security office and give them the iron. The embarrassing part was that the security office was full of guys who had tried to sneak alcohol on board. And then there was me with my iron.

Awesome advice. We found a beautiful konch shell on the beach at Mahogany Bay, brought it to our cabana attendant to ask if it was OK to take to the ship, he advised we should not. It became a cool table ornament for the cabana. On the way back to the ship we saw they were selling them in the gift shop.

Travel insurance is a must. We used it 3 times in one year because we had to cancel that many times. Once for severe illness, the second time for a family emergency that we had to travel for, the third time was a hurricane was in the path of departure day and we finally made it to a cruise on the fourth scheduling. Air fare was included in all this as well.
Travel insurance was a life saver and a financial saver.
