How to change batteries on sky glass remote

Awesome, mine arrived today and the pull tab sticking out the back of it snapped!! that was a total waste of time. I had no idea how to get it opened to free the battery connection. Thanks for saving the day 🙂

Can’t see this opening the remote as it’s very dark!!! Plus I’ve tried to open it like the gent, sadly I can’t get it open either.

Such a technological wonder yet the make it impossible to open unless you have the knack, ..would it be too simple to put a sticker on the back until you get the knack.😅

Mine seemed to be glued together - straight out of the box for the puck! The paper battery saver snapped so I had a dead remote. No amount of brute force could move the cover until I grasped it as shown in the diagam and then pressed my hands together with some coniderable force - and the cover slipped off!

Can’t open the bloody thing. Not even got the sky glass going and frustrated. Think my hands too small and no strength . Any tips ? Thanks

It appears to be a magic trick but reluctantly I tried it and the damn thing opened
