you can write on PDF-s with tablets. That IS the game changer for me. and no I do not want to go and print everything out to bath in papers I want one clean digital instrument where I can manage my documents. No carrying papers around.

Maybe I’m late and my comment won’t get seen but with an iPad or tablet you can download pdf files of textbooks. So you save money there. If your professor requires you to print something out and hand write you save money there on paper and ink. I’m also very unorganized with paper and the one semester I did have textbooks, the semester was a drag. Heavy backpack, messy notes… I know that’s a me problem but an iPad cleared that up for me. Plus you can always resell the iPad later, resell on these things are pretty good. Just like in gaming, if I can get an hour for every dollar I spent, it’s worth it.

Great video! Unfortunately, the title suggests that you evaluate b tablets in general while it's mainly about iPad, which in turn spins the conversation around and about price. There are many options to tablets and maybe centering the discussion about the technology and not about the brand would have made a really great video.

I was thinking of getting an a tablet for the complete opposite reason, for pure entertainment purposes. Then id have my laptop purely for work. I find its excessive having a laptop for only entertainment and I do need a solid keyboard for my work device, hence that's what I'm considering

You also can connect your tablet to a laptop (if you're running android + windows/linux) to use it as a portable second monitor when you're not taking notes. I am so used to a dual monitor setup, my laptop experience seems somewhat limited because of having to fit everything on 1 monitor

- I can istantly use internet images
- I can draw too if simple
-I can Customize and edit all the mess i made during that hard class i didn't understand and just copy everything
-I can add information from books and researching after the class because the space is infinite.
- You can record in second plan
- You can instantly export your notes to other studying apps like anky droid.
- It is lighter to carry over
-I can carry everywhere saving on cloud, what means studying everywhere.

- My grades sinply skyrocket from 7, 0 ≈ 8, 0/10 to 9 ≈ 10 in every single subject. which means I would be a laureate if I had used this from the beginning

So, my family finds laptop to be too expensive so I want to ask them to buy me tablet instead. But the thing is I am a bit scared that tablet can't replace laptop's purposes in univ ;(

I'd say its almost necessary these days if you can get it. It can make note-taking so much more easier. You can do so much more on it... You can pretty much only use it for all your studies, but store your stuff in the cloud. If you install YouTube and Netflix/Showmax like I did, it can very much distract you.

Personally i throw out my notebooks after filling them up and being done with them after the school year -- So the ipad is also a great way to keep that work saved and you can also access the work after being done university if it helps at all

Definitely going to get an iPad, I’m starting chiropractic school in March. The convince will really help me especially with being able to download and write on power points and there is many programs the school offers that u can download onto it. It definitely will be a biggg chunk of money on top of what I will already be paying but I will definitely be using it to its full extent and I will use the idea of keeping games and stuff like that on my phone so my iPad is mainly for school use only !
