So I have been using ASUS chrome book for a month now (the 15.6 inch ) touch screen one
My experience had been great honestly
Like I only use it for light browsing watching some Netflix and preparing for my few courses at times.
The experience of having a touch screen in a laptop is something I never felt was necessary until I used it :
Also the ease it was setup for me like I just logged in with gmail id and it fetched the data from the time I was using an android phone .
This actually was easy
Lastly being an accessibility tester I tried chromeOS with its accessibility features and I have to say for someone whose looking for an accessible machine in a budget this is way better in fact the accessibility of chrome mOS is way better than windows just behind MacOS

My use for tablet is to look at charts 3 to 4 charts on one. Easily mountable and has touch, it makes amazing setup, better for travelling cause lasts longer than laptops

They need to launch a tab with chrome os add a (optional) wiseless set (keyboard + mouse) that can connect to it preferably without external connector

If someone looking for chromebooks within a budget constraints, I would suggest to increase the budget and get a decent Windows laptop like Infinix Inbook or Avita Satus

I would rather sacrifice 75 mb of storage and a few clicks rather than sacrifice the enitreity of performance, battery backup, screen quality, build quality, speaker/sound quality etc. There's no comparisn - it's straight up the tablets that win. Plus Chromebooks have ran out of support anyway so there's no point.

I think getting a laptop around 25k and adding RAM + SSD would help a lot.
Add Linux to it and the performance should increase a lot.
But yeah, i guess the issue is that it'll be a low power processor and it really can't be upgraded.
Man, I wish Indian Refurbished laptop market was more mainstream and dependable

Id say buy a second hand laptop . There are options like i5 8gen, or i7 7gen . They are awesome u even get an m.2 ssd with some .some options are dell latitude 7480 and 7490 . They are having 1080 p display . Even 7480 has a thunderbolt 3 which i bought around 1 month ago. There performance is insane . I mean i5 8 gen is equivalent to i3 11 gen laptop processor . Yeah hardware is a issue . But amazon renewed has pretty much all return and refund policy or u can even research in offline .
