Thanks for this advice because I have aerophobia, and I heard this weekend is probably gonna rain even in New Jersey where I'm going, and I thought of the worse case scenarios like the flight being cancelled, and then I'll NEVER get to see the ninja turtles at Nickelodeon Universe in East Rutherford! I seriously hope for the best that this 2nd trip to Nickelodeon Universe will be better than the first, and, like Mirabel sings, I'm waiting on a miracle 🙏🏻

Pilots simply don't fly through storms like it's nothing. We plan around or above it. Ice and lightning are the least concern assuming your plane is equipped to deal with it. The biggest danger is hail. Not a single aircraft in the world is equipped to handle it unless we build a tank that flies and carries passengers.
