I have a question in mind: Why is platinum used as the material for the blades of an aircraft engine?

Great job emphasizing the impact of attack angle on the ability to get lift! I thought the analogy to a kite was a clever way to show it.

I think it's worth noting that the "gap" that you say sucks the wing up isn't the cause of lift though. The attack angle, flow density, flow speed, and curvature of the wing all help the wing exert a force on the air flow. The air's reaction to that force (Newton's 3rd law!) is represented by the difference between the pressure above the wing and the pressure below it, and that force is the lift!
