Aspen is back in her enclosure! She got put back on September 2nd And has been really happy with it! I apologize I repeat a lot of the same words in the video 😂 for some reason when I film I have this habit of once I say one word or sentence I tend to keep reusing it. Hey I got a Syrian hamster today! She is absolutely adorable and so far she has had her ears up the whole time, cleaning herself, standing up on her back legs showing all the signs of being content. I even gave her a little teeny piece of carrot and she just ate it from my hand. I think I have a very confident little baby already ❤️😍

I now feel a real sense of guilt for a hamster I owned when I was a kid. We are talking 30 years ago. We had the worst cage for her and she chronically chewed on her bars. I always thought she was doing it to file her teeth down…now it’s most likely from stress of being in such an awful cage. Ugh…that’s a hard feeling to take on. I’m so sorry Hammy, you deserved better.
