95% Donbas residents are Russians. More than 75% Southern Ukraine including Odessa residents are Russians. It is the same in north eastern, central and as well as Kiev residents.

Very little of what Russia is doing is without planning, were it not for the foolishness of the NATO leaders, and the US, there would have been a negotiated settlement two months ago, the 'encirclement' will be complete soon, the Ukraine will lose more soldiers, a huge amount of territory, all of which could have been avoided if they had not allowed NATO to influence/destabilise them.

- Luhansk & Donetsk aren't under attack - both cities have been under their own people's control since 2014. Ukrainians have tried to shell them - but it don't look like offensive at this moment.
- City of Herson isn't a part of Donbass.
