When riding in sand or mud or other loose stuff:
- Stand up from the seat
- Turn toes slightly inward so that your knees press against the tank(or frame)
- Keep you weight on the rear wheel by leaning back, making the front wheel lighter

Helps a lot if you also keep the speed up, but the main point is make the front wheel lighter and separate you and your bike, so the bike can do wiggling while you stay stable.

Also, look farther - where you want to go, not directly in front of the bike. Because the bike will go where you look.

Thank God the jugard worked out for you. Even we locals also avoid jalsa its not just foreigners who hestitate in such situations. Well once i witnessed a protest by women and children against power shortage. All of a sudden traffic jammed in danyore. We were shopping fruits n vege alpngside the road and had kids on board. So it was better to quickly move from that area.
