What I love about Strange's fight is that it isn't all about power. Turning a black hole into a flurry of blue butterflies was NOT was Thanos was expecting!
And the way he retrieved the Time Stone by plucking it from the stars was MAGIC.

I love how you can tell what Thanos is doing by what stones he's using
Like when he pulls Strange closer, you can see the Space and Reality stones glowing and the landscape behind Strange shifting closer as well. He's not just doing a Force Choke kind of thing, he is physicaly decreasing the space between them to get him close enough

I love how Thanos is mixing and matching the Power/Space/Reality/Soul Stones in this fight to do combo attacks against Strange. Not only does it show how knowledgeable Thanos is with the stones, but it also shows how powerful Strange is -- Thanos needs a whopping four stones to take him on.

This is why i love Doctor Strange . He carries the whole team and still he managed to put up a good fight against Thanos and he gave everything he got .

If you look, when strange creates an illusion of himself multiple times, thanos uses the soul stone for a brief moment so he can locate the real strange

This makes Strange and Stark such heroes. Both MEN who would never make "the big play" as Cap would say. Strange's relinquishment of the stone is the BIGGEST play for the war. Stark sacrificed himself for the endgame.

They had so much potential with dr strange but just nerfed him so badly in his second movie. Holding his ground vs thanos with some infinity stones, while in his own movie he just kept running and struggled vs an eyeball octopus. Like, i got it that the scarlet witch was shown to be stronger than the sorcerer supreme, but it's still so sad that he barely even fought her lol. The battle in kamar taj, mostly he just was watched. Really lame. MoM was literally such a huge opportunity to go crazy and they barely did anything with it.

The thing I like about infinity war over endgame is that it's just action after action with suspension and some humor in between which is a beautiful representation of what the comics are while endgame had much more humor thrown out and only action at the very end while we basically relived the rest of the scenes which was great and all but it definitely felt more of an avenger's assemble movie type of thing rather than comics felt
