I tried an LED face mask for 3 weeks...

Sorry, I removed the code because it doesn't seem to work correctly. Needless to say, I probably won't work with this brand again. 🫠

I've always been curious about light therapy, and now that it's more widely available I was excited to test it out on my deep skin. In this video, I'll show my before and after results of using the Aduro face mask 5 days a week for 3 weeks for at least 5 minutes. I've learned that blue light therapy can cause hyper-pigmentation in deeper skin tones so I only stuck to red light therapy with this mask. Do you see any difference in my skin from using the mask? Let me know in the comments below.

TBH, since the lighting is totally different for the before and after pics I'm like 🤔🧐😶🤷🏾‍♀️🙃

disregarding the different lighting, your skin does look happier; your undereyes look brighter. I'd say it's worth using for a lil longer (especially since you got it for free.99 lol)! thanks for being so willing to pioneer this daunting quest. I know us extra melanated folk really appreciate this!

Hallease? When I watch, I respond like we’re sitting across the table from each other. You are so relatable, intelligent, kind and funny. I throughly enjoy your content. Thank for being my sister-friend on the interwebs. Love you like a play cousin!😉🙂

When you said "beige variety" my melanated self thought you were referring to light-skinned POC (at first). 🤷🏾‍♀️😂

I'm so very happy that you have broached the subject! I am 62 in great health and skin and melanated! I went to a spa recently for infrared / near infrared treatment for infrared and near infrared treatment for weight loss.. I was told it would also tightened my skin! Rather than spend $1, 000's with them for only 1 5 treatments I decided to do my research and purchase an at- home device. Would love to see your results as you are beautiful before treatment..😊

I get monthly facials at a medspa. I asked my esthetician if I should try it and she said there are different types of lights. She said she can’t guarantee that it’ll help my skin but it won’t hurt. She says it has nothing to do with melanin potency. I also know that they typically don’t consider us in their pre-market trials for skin and haircare products.

I've never heard of these masks or this type of therapy. Thanks for sharing. ❤

Sunscreen has restored my skin! My melasmas & post-blemish marks faded! I wear it everyday, too.

Great video! I had never hear of this before. Really interesting. I’d be curious how it works out for you after a month, six months, a year? Can we see updates?🌺 thanks for sharing your video

It's hard to see with the lighting difference.

I personally scrub my face with baking soda and water and it smooths my face. It used to be textured as well but I find this scrub greatly helps cell turnover and discolorations. The baking soda shouldn't be a grainy kind, it should feel like powder. Of course one should try it on a small area first before applying all over face and/or body.

Follow with a toner to control for the high pH if needed, I personally don't though.

She's pricey but I want her I might have to check out that offer code. Mr. Hallease needs to use it too not because he needs it but just to balance things out. Yall both need to walk around the house looking crazy lol. Also I heard that if you put aloe Vera gel on your skin while using the mask it enhances the product.

As a former acne haver the thing that worked for me was Accutane. I didn't experience the side effects other than dryness and I have not had acne since. I took it 10 years ago and now use tretinoin 5 nights a week. Good luck
