#PleinAirpril Day 02 - Spring River ✶ #shorts

Показать описание
Day 2 of #PleinAirpril features a view of the Spey River from the local park, and I couldn't resist those spring colors! Big fluffy clouds that were moving quickly made it a challenge, as I kept adjusting my values/colors when they moved. But there were some good lessons learned. #gouache #painting

What is PleinAirpril?
The goal is to do one painting each day in April (outside or looking out the window).
Plein Air + April = pleinairpril

This challenge was started by the Warrior Painters - an artist community fueled by love for plein-air painting & entertainment art.

I love these circles. These little windows. Little glimpses into the world. A small peak. Love this idea!

I think scenes like this would look great painted on wood slice ornaments. Thanks for the inspiration Sarah! Have you ever tried any of the watercolour grounds for painting on surfaces other than paper?

How did you paint those teeny tiny rocks to actually look like teeny tiny rocks? Impressive!

It looks lika full palette you're using there. How many colors are you using? Are you using the Schmincke and Shinhan gouache that you showed us?
Your voice is calming. I love when you paint and just hang out and talk with us. I actually have you on sometimes when I'm cooking, quilting or sewing. The forest outdoor walks and painting is so beautiful and has a very soothing effect on me. I just recently joined your patron. Thank you for taking us on your adventures.
