Floyd Rose - A look at 3 different models

In the early 90s my buddy and I were allowed to "raid" spare parts bins at local music stores and snagged a bunch of original Floyds for next to nothing. Thank you Grunge!

If you go for a floyd, get a Schaller Surgical Steel floyd. Anything below that takes alot more care to keep in tune and intonated

I will take pictures of my foyld rose bridge on my finder guitar, in fact will take pics of my Gibson guitar, my classical guitar that was made for me I. Spain, my Italian EKO 12 string that has a pickup on it.
Old guitars for an old woman lol my 12 string was a gift from Carlos Sanata lol in 1970 when he toured in Hawaii after Woodstock. I actually got to play with his band at a creator fest see old woman lol

I noticed that these are surface mounts and not the routed recessed mount. Do they sit up against the body or float a couple 32 of an inch above the body? At 2:16 it looks like it is above the body.

My Floyd rose is somehow different from the others, instead of locking the string at the bridge it got holes 😂😂somehow like a normal fender tremolo system but mixed with Floyd rose. BTW, I still have the original one tho,

what is the benefit for non recessed tremolo vs recessed tremolo? i cant see benefit from that, same hard to tune, but with non recessed cant do up notes. thx.
cz i have non recessed fr in my charvel sandimas japan

That black FR on the white pacer isn't steel at all. over time, it will not hold up like the other two. Thats a huge difference. Btw, I had that white barerra from the music yo era. Those were great guitars. Edit. ...I see the white is 2015, not the 07 yo era. That floyd isn't steel either. Nice guitar tho.
