Guys I love you but being adopted myself I cannot stay quiet. It used to upset me so much when I would see my parents call everyone as their children and me their adopted child. I remember one day seeing it written this way too and it started to really effect me. I knew they loved me but when things were frosty sometimes I couldn’t help remember how they presented me to others - it was always my adopted child. I’m not saying you are being malice and I’m not saying you guys are hurting your son, but please remember he might not say it effects him, but it might grate him a little. Now my family all call me their sister and not adopted sister and my mum calls me her daughter not adopted daughter. And I love it!! Makes me feel connected 100%.

I'm so so glad people are commenting about the "adopted son" comments. Like girl. Is he not just your son already? I am engaged with 5 children. It just so happened I only birthed one of my children, but that doesn't mean I don't still have just 5 children. What I don't have is "step-children".

I love Cristal and Neo's videos and am very happy to know that you guys adopted a teen. Teens who are adopted don't really open up to their parents and so even if they are unhappy about certain things, they try not to show it. So even if Kevin grows unhappy about you mentioning he is adopted over the years, he will be very uncomfortable from within but wont show it. Now you guys have become his parents, so no need to tell everyone he is adopted, you know. We know and understand it.

I’m adopted and my parents always used to say my adopted daughter or my daughter shouldn’t matter at the end of the day that’s their children can’t do a thing about it besides speak on it 🤣😭 they clearly don’t give a fuck 💙💋
