MASSIVE 14.5' Carplay Radio Install on my 15 Silverado LML Duramax

Chevy Silverado interiors and radios are NOT great, so I install a 14" Android screen in mine! Full install plus testing / review. Best way to get Android Auto and Apple CarPlay?

bought one. Installed in less than 2 hours. Works great. My only hangup is that it cannot bluetooth to both the vehicle and the android device at the same time

So, out of curiosity, what STOPS working with this installed? I’m seriously considering getting one after watching your video (love all your vids, by the way - 2016 Silverado 2500 Midnight Edition here). But, I like all my factory stuff to work.
- Does the gauge cluster center screen still reflect current radio station, presets, stuff like that?
- Factory mic?
- Factory USB ports work?
- I saw that the steering wheel control can be made to work… any issues there?

to adjust screen centering ... go into factory settings with the 7890 password and change GM Screen Parameters to AUTO by clicking the left arrow (4 is default on mine)

My 18 Denali hd Bose system sounds amazing for a stock system, with the factory Bose Sub, but the infotainment system blows. This is exactly what I was looking for. But man, what a project.

This is great. The GM infotainment systems severely lacked until 2018. Both fully loaded 07 & 2014 Suburbans felt as they were stuck in the early 2000s.

I looked it up on their site and it didnt list all the features on my Suburban as compatible. Definitely want to upgrade the rear camera as well. Emailing them tomorrow morning. I like the look of the AuCar more than the Phoenix set up

This is EPCI!! I need this for my truck!!! Lol.. I use SirusXM.. I wonder since this is a larger screen experience you can use their upgraded experience? Much like the Ram can do?

Safe to say you liked this one more than the previous?
My only gripe is that it is taller and sticks out.
The other looked more factory to the dash lines.
Is the unit that much of an upgrade in every other facet that the extra few inches it sticks out is worth it?
