Like so many others here, I have to thank you! You solved my problem with the first method and in just a few minutes after months of suffering with this nonsense. In case this happens to someone else, when I went to Windows Update to click on Stop, it would not let me, it would only let me click on Start. So I clicked on Start, then it changed and let me click on Stop. In Windows, there were a ton of things listed, unlike in your video but I just scrolled down to the Software Distribution and proceeded as you indicated. That was it. It worked! Yay!!!

From Troubleshooting.
For me to get on the desktop I tried start repair....but it couldn't repair...so after i tried recovery but it also failed... after switching it off and on I was able to get to the desktop...
then I followed the video... Thanks 👍

If you're one of the people with a PC that still doesn't update after trying both methods, don't feel bad. I was there too... for months. I tried like a hundred fixes but none worked except for the third method in this guy's video:


It will take a lot longer than other fixes, and I don't know if it work for you too. But hey! Things will get better, just be patient and don't lose hope. Best of luck!!
