Hey! Any friend of Palmer's is a friend of ours. Palmer & I are BFFs... he just doesn't know it yet! HA! I really wish you would have served in my son's "ward" and given them a little straightening out. My son went inactive and I guess my phone number was on his records and I would get assignments to bring "xx" salad to the funeral lunch Saturday, the end. I got those all the time. They had NO CLUE who my son was or my non-member DIL but they got assigned (not asked) to bring food all the time. I finally called and the lady was mad at me for not calling the ward secretary records guy to correct it (and basically why wasn't the salad showing up). He also got a note on his door asking if they would move cuz they didn't like how they were keeping their yard. NOT. EVEN. KIDDING. They only pushed my son farther AWAY from the church instead of wrapping their arms around or using their needs as an opportunity to serve. UGGGGHHHH!!! And yes, he did move. Loved listening to your discussion.

Hey, Jonathan, I think I saw your comment on Watched Palmer channel about you being related to Joseph through his mom, Lucy Mack. I think my 10th great grandfather was Rev. John Lathrop, and Lucy descended from one of his children. I'm a fourth cousin four times removed from Joseph on my Dad's side. My last name is Gwin. I assumed I had other church members that I was related to but never met them. I'm a convert. Was baptized in 2005. I just in the last few years find I was related to Lucy but ever since I'd joined the church I felt a special connection to her. I was wondering who some other of your ancestors were. Oh well!!! So cool to find a cousin in the church.
