AC Compressor On and Off

Does it hurt the engine or the moving parts if we turn on and off the AC while the car is moving ?

Similar to my Nissan car ac was not blowing cold air the wire connected to the clutch, I had to constantly move it around so ac air would blow out .. and when I turn off my car I had to do it again…

My AC compressor clutch spins, but not coolung. The can with the gage on it is in red area( if needle is in red and compressor is cycling on, do not add refrigerant. System should be services by technician.) Any ideas why its engaged but not cooling?

Change the A/C compressor, change the belt, change the belt tensioner

I'm a machanic and that needs replacing as soon as possible to prevent engine light on and having to take it to a shop because there will be no code for a diagnostic test.

vw golf 5 who managed to turn off the compressor when it is not needed? it works for me all the time.
