Quick and easy to fix, thanks for the video. Guys use an old rag or small towel, fold it over 4-6 layers thick, and only pull the trigger very shortly, mine went from mid red to mid green with 2 pulls. Cloth folded over a few times absorbed the gas as far as i could tell.

overfilled, who would've guessed- though, now it's just normal temperature when the AC is on. Sweet spot somewhere in there! Lol I lucked out and my old AC can has a decompressor build in, you just take off the gauge for a bit to let it breathe, then re-attach and repeat until in Green Zone.

So you let freon out with the ac turned off. I have same problem when adding freon it took way too much freon and clutch was coming on but not blowing cold. After watching other video where people were doing same thing as you i tried to let some out but only air was coming out, no freon. Idk if it's because I had the ac switch on. The needle would be in green and then jump to red when clutch came on and all that was coming out was air. And i did it for over 5 minutes. My compressor was doing same thing, clutch was coming on and off quickly but it never got any better when i let out all that air. And idk what happened to all the freon i had put in there because one can had dye in it and i did not see any leaks anywhere.

Should ac be on or off when doing this ?

Is it odd that nobody mentioned the one pesky little problem with this quick fix....Its totally freaking illegal and if somebody reports it they will hit you with fines youll never get pd off!!! Just saying.

This may just fix my ac issue. I'll find out later once home. Ac wasn't coming cold. I recharged and still no ac. I have been researching what could be the problem. My compressor turns on and off....After watching this video, I remembered that I'm pretty sure I may have overfilled. I'll check later. Is the port that you discharged from, the same port that you filled from? I know this video is older, but if you see this and have a moment to answer that question, I'd appreciate it a ton! Thanks!!

I think the AC need to be running and pressure stabilized when you bleed the freon out.
