Welcome back for another Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon update video. In this video, I will be naming all of the dragons and their riders from A Song of Ice and Fire and Fire and Blood. These are all of the different dragons we will see over the course of the new Game of Thrones Prequel Series, House of the Dragon. According to George R.R. Martin, we will see 17 dragons in House of the Dragon. HOTD showrunner, Miguel Sapochnik, recently said we will see 9 dragons in the first season alone. I was initially worried about watching this show because of how GOT ended but honestly how could I resist all of these dragons?

It would be great to see Balerion even in some sort of flashback but I doubt that will happen. The dragons I'm the most excited to see are Vhagar and Sunfyre for their size and beauty and definitely Caraxes for his temper.

I can’t wait to see Caraxes. He’s always been my favourite from the lore of asoiaf. But to see the Cannibal would be insane. A dragon that was likened to Balerion-even if we never see the Black Dread himself.

Have you seen the article about the different breeds and skull shapes for the dragons that they came up with in the design phase? What I’m looking forward to isn’t just individual dragons but more their different looks and characteristics!
