Fun fact about Whispering deaths which should apply to the screaming death.

They never stop growing, meaning if one lived long enough. It's size could reach that to the point it could wrap around islands.

And if you look at the Screaming death's rapid growth... you should begin wondering... just how big would the oldest Screaming death be?

Large enough to wrap around an island? the archipelago? or...

The entire planet?

I used to be so obsessed with HTTYD that i literally made my own dragon its called the archipeladon (archipelago dragon) which basically meant that i liked the idea of the archipelago being a singular massive dragon that holds everything like a (land?) turtle with an ecosystem on its back. There is also multiple archipelago dragon and they are all standing over a large planet that is made up entirely of water deeper than the deepest part of the ocean in our world so basically the archipelago dragons IS the continents of this world

isn't it weird how the screaming death is so rare that his maximum size is not yet recorded?
It is a hecking baby and it is 20 meters long, we don't even know its life span and nor we know when it stops growing, it is only born once every 100 years but it does not mean it only lives 100 years, what if he lives 200 and never stops growing until it dies?
(the screaming death is about 3-4 human years in Race to the edge)
not only that but in the mobile games, a screaming death can easily top a red death, though not canon, the dragon sizes are not that off
(same thing for the Bewilderbeast, in RTTE we can see one of his species can grow up to the size of an island)

I have had a theory for a long time, for those who don't like spoilers stop reading this comment.
At the end of Dragons race to the edge, we see Valka taking the Bewilderbeast egg to safety out of the reach of dragon hunters hands. One of the main hunters was someone who worked for Drago and his mission was to capture the bewilderbeast that protected the egg(the father I'm guessing) but failed and 'fired'. Drago than somehow caught the king of dragons, and we can see that the egg has hatched and the bewilderbeast has matured. My theory is that the bewilderbeast that killed the other was the parent of it

When measuring a dragons height you shouldnt include wings or horns. Just the top of the head (when head is straight up). Otherwise, great work!

I used to be obsessed and my obsession has returned I even made my own Dragon Species. The species is like a Frankenstein kinda, it’s similar to a Skrill in the sense it uses lighting. Here are some details

ThunderJumpers

ThunderJumpers are very few and far between making them very hard to come by and tame, they are almost as strong as a night fury but can’t completely match them.
The ThunderJumper doesn’t draw lighting from storms it creates it’s own because it eats electric eels. Before it evolved to use Electric it would uses its spines to shoot like a Deadly Nadder or RazorWhip. Their Scales match the night sky with dark blue and black colors that have an extra opaque Lighting pattern across the body and wings which are hard to see unless in light. The pattern on their scales shift during Moon High making them even harder to see. The size of a ThunderJumper can vary depending on the eating habits and environment which it lives. ThunderJumpers often live on high peaks in caves or in deep caverns. They generally aren’t aggressive to other dragons at all and will go to lengths to protect another dragon if needed but are extremely aggressive if their land is invaded by humans, even if they aren’t a dragon hunter. ThunderJumpers live long lives well into hundreds if not thousands of years so they often don’t need to mate a lot, the prime mating age is around five hundred to a thousand years old. Most of the Species have a short child hood and have extended teenage years and adult years because it only takes them about 5 years to grow to full size (which is about 10-20 m) and another 5 to unlock all of its powers. Not much is known about ThunderJumpers, only that they are silent stalkers unless provoked so it was Labeled a Mystery class. If tamed which can only be done by multiple shows of faith to protect the dragon a ThunderJumper is extremely loyal and will go to any lengths to protect its rider. They are aggressively protective malicious around strangers, when around friends in close proximity whom are trusted by rider the dragon less aggressive, more command driven instead of immediate attack. The only time a ThunderJumper will not be on guard is if alone with their Rider. For an outside person to gain the trust of a tamed ThunderJumper the person would have to show the same traits as the rider over a extended period of time.

Here are some Abilities of the Thunder Jumper

Thunder Screach (Loud, Explosive similar to thunder drum not as loud and can’t damage ear drums as badly)

Stun Strike (Small electric blast from mouth to stun enemies can increase electricity to stun dragons or larger dangers)

Lighting Strike (Dark blue colored lighting produced from tail, a thunder like sound is generated exactly 10 seconds after impact to add an extra scare to any opponents if not already dead)


Shooting Electrified Spines (Shooting spines similar to WindShear and StormFly but electric to stun opponents long range not as dangerous compared to a deadly Nadder & Razor Whips Spines.)

Illuminated Spines (The spines that run along its body often on chin & nose, Back, Along the front of its wings & the tail begin to glow at will at the age of 5-10 depending on growth rate of dragon.)


So ThunderJumpers are basically a Home-brew Frankenstein NightFury on crack. This was long and detailed and now my thumbs hurt. If this has inspired any artist please I beg of you credit me bc this species took a lot of thought.
