Priscilla Presley Tears Up Remembering Lisa Marie 1 Year After Her Death (Exclusive)

Priscilla Presley chats with ET's Kevin Frazier at the 75th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, airing Monday on Fox. Priscilla gushes about her granddaughter, Riley Keough, and how 'proud' she is of Riley for being nominated for her role in 'Daisy Jones & The Six.' She shares how important it was for her and Riley to attend the award show together and reacts to the rumors about their family dynamic. Nearly a year after Lisa Marie's death, Priscilla gets emotional remembering her late daughter and shares how much she misses her.

She should stop portraying Lisa as weak and suicidal. Lisa was healing through helping other mothers snd said herself on Elvis birthday that she would be buried next to Ben but hoped not for a long time as she still had her twins to raise and a lot more to do in her life. This is the second interview she has implied Lisa was suicidal. It’s a shame that even in death she still devalues Lisa. Her statement that Elvis would have been proud of Riley and not mentioning Lisa to that effect speaks volumes to where her true desires are. Forever attached to Elvis.

Priscilla said "when her son died that's when she didn't want to be here." On Jan 8, 2023 Lisa was at Elvis Presley's BD party. She seemed happy and stayed for the last autograft and photo. She told the fans, "you are the only people that can get me out of my house, and I'm not kidding." Then she laughed. She met with a grieving parent and her grief counselor who she was going to start a podcast with. She told them where she would be buried next to her son. Either the grieving parent or her counselor said, 'not now, I hope." Lisa said, No, not now, I have too much to do." She was a good mother, and wanted to be here for her twins, Riley and her grandchild. She was moving forward using her grief to help others. She seemed happy with the fans on her father's BD. Lisa didn't appear sick until the Golden Globe Awards. We know now metabolic acidosis had set in due to the small intestinal obstruction. A person with this condition can be confused, and we know she lost her balance the way she was hanging onto Jerry's arm. Why didn't her mother or someone take her to the ER? I saw no tears in Priscilla's eyes.

It's hard when a mother loses a child, and a child or children, loses their mother. I'm sure Priscilla does love and miss Lisa in her own way. It's good to see Riley reaching out to her grandmother and trying to be closer as a family. After all, Lisa is gone, and they may need each other desperately for comfort. Grieving for one that dies is never easy, but they can take comfort in knowing, Lisa Marie is now in a much better place now and she is freed of all of her personal pain. She is also, reunited with her beloved father Elvis and son Benjamin. They say, when a person dies, it's like they take a whole universe with them when they go. So, I can pretty much understand this saying, as one person can become the world to their family and friends. Lisa was the world, as well as meant the world to her mother Priscilla and her three children. When Lisa lost her son Ben, she truly suffered from his loss, and now she is free from any pain and sadness that she felt. Lisa Marie will always be loved, as long as, she is remembered and thought about. Besides, she lives on, through her three remaining daughters and her new grand-child Tupelo. R.I.P. LISA.

I cant comment on the Priscilla movie as i had no intensions of spending my money watching a load of lies about Elvis, first off he is not here to defend himself plus Lisa Marie, told her mother not to make the film or dishonour her father in any way....as far as im concerned there were only two women who truly loved Elvis and they are his mother Gladys, bless her heart❤ and his beloved Daughter Lisa Marie, who loved him unconditionally with all his faults, after all Elvis was human...God sent him to make an impact on the world, which he certainly did, and God knew Elvis was not long for this world, but through all the sadness i get joy knowing, Elvis, Benjamin, and Lisa Marie, are all together for Eternity and are happier now than ever they were on earth. May they rest in peace....just to add i totally disagree with Priscilla being buried at Graceland...the burial garden is for real Presleys only....❤❤❤
