This was a video I did testing the in-building simplex coverage from in side a local Walmart. The point of the test was to test talk out capability for tactical operations.

I used the VP6000 portable with a KMC-41 speaker/mic, radio on the hip. The receiver was a BCD536HP scanner in a vehicle out in the parking lot.

Great test. Can you do a test on a repeater in digital mode a few miles down the road? I like to see in-building coverage with a repeater across town. Also, can you do a simplex test again in digital mode?

What’s the setting called that makes them sound digital in analog? Wondering if my NX-5300 can do that.

Is this in Digital mode or analog because i know near the produce section it got a little choppy during transmission but the voice sounds digital
