My laptop is using integrated graphics.. How to Switch to Dedicated NVIDIA Graphics!

Hi Youtube, we've noticed something weird on ASUS gaming laptop recently. We were playing a game. Starcraft 2,l from Blizzard, and it was not using the dedicated NVIDIA Geforce RTX 3060. It was using the poor performance integrated AMD graphics instead. So, here we've created a tutorial video. i can't access the nvidia control panel. it just doesn't open. and the update in the geforce program is stuck at driver v 516.94 no matter how much i try to install it. i even tried cleaning up and reinstalling the graphics drivers and i still can't open the control panel.

i switched from hybrid to discrete and i wanna turn off my nvidia card insted of switching agian and restart my pc!

Hei there could help me with this problem I have been having this for a full day now
so I have a laptop that has geforce mx330 and an intel i5 it was fine for 1 year but all of a sudden when I played games i notice that my fps was really bad i check my control panel and when I see prefferd gpu it only shows intergrated graphics

im really confuse because when I check task manager it clearly shows that I have my gpu I just dosent let me change the prefferd graphics card I've done alot of tutorials but none of them worked can someone help me please?

Hello, after following your instructions, I still can't use my GPU's full potential because when I launch a game and open task manager, I notice that my laptop uses both Intel Integrated graphics and RTX 3060 BUT it uses the intel more than rtx (intel: 49% use; rtx: 15% use).

all my games are bottlenecked due to this.

hey man i have an amd ryzen 5600G which has an integrated graphics card and i have an NVIDIA RTX 3060 but when i play games i get 50fps but all my settings say it’s using the 3060. Any help?

Hello. I have AMD intergraded and Nvidia RTX dedicated GPU, but for some reason in games that supports RT/DLSS for e.g Shadow of the tomb raider, the Ray Tracing and DLSS is not available/supported on the game settings! why is that?, what should i do to fix this?

I dont have display option it says you cant run display option with integrated graphics but if i disable it my screen goes off because that card is my screen display any help?

I've been looking for solutions for my wife's Asus rog strix g17 laptop she just got. We've updated her windows drivers, updated her nvidia drivers. Checked bios and Armourcrate with no improvement. Games like starcraft, league of legends and sims all have issues. We've gone through the nvidia control panel but still nothing. Gonna try this hope it works, thanks my guy.
