The most scariest things happen in conferences all over our camp meetings because camp meetings have lost their true meaning. They are just fancy gatherings. We need to remember that camp meeting must benefit and minister to the community who live around the venue.. Thats not happening anymore. Sad.

"North Eastern and the church of Jesus Christ, " "first lady of the church of God in Christ, " this is what the man at the beginning called the Seventh-day Adventist church! Not once did he say this or even used SDA! When the people in my conference area do not call the church these names, we're not ashamed to be SDA or say our name out loud. Then this lady is unhinged and is certainly not a Seventh-day Adventist! She doesn't dress like an SDA, nor sing, nor talk, nor act like an SDA! She says that what she says in gibberish the Holy Spirit understands! Excuse me? The Holy Spirit does NOT understand what she said, neither does she, and then she says the devil doesn't understand but what she's doing is from the devil. If she was truly an SDA then she would know that we don't have to fear the devil hearing what we're saying to God, for God, or about God and she'd know the actual definition of speaking in tounges. She'd know that it's not some unintelligible bloody nonsense! She would know that the gift of speaking in tongues was given to the disciples when there was multiple people with that spoke different languages when they were speaking and so God made it so that every person there understood what he was saying in their own tongue or language, even though he had no interpreter and was only speaking the language he spoke

The SDA church has been losing its way since Fordism in the late 1970s/early 80s.
Since then EGW played down, less talk about being the remnant church, women's ministries, questionable music styles in church, questionable styles of dress in church, and now the rent boy lobby.
$50, 000 USD could build a few church buildings in Africa and other low cost countries.
