I am new to embracing the SDA church as my recognized family in Christ. I have come to this conclusion, not on my own, but I feel the Holy Spirit steered me into this direction, I am alone in this venture for my family, within my home, does not feel as I do, and I am sometimes reticuled for this. But If I could only tell my testimony to how I arrived at this embrace. And it started August 2017 right after Hurricane Harvey, when I arrived home from a trip to Galveston, (I live 65 miles SE of Dallas.) that evening, I had a tremendous urge to go outside and like at the night sky...and that continued for a few days, then the word Sabbath kept entering my mind..it did continually as I would go outside and look at the sky, and I prayed to God and asked what does this mean? What are you trying to tell me? Then I just starting researching, but more so, I started observing the best I knew how, which I didn't know how. I do know the 10 commandments of our Lord but when I looked at them again and saw Remember...the word of the $th commandment to remember, God saying in his word to remember, all of the commandments are his word, but this one commandment was to be remembered. So I went from there...I can't comment a page long of events that followed, but I would like to find an SDA church near me where maybe I can tell someone, and I could be helped to understand more...I haven't read any of Ellen White's books, only sections mentioned in this great man I came across named Walter Veith...maybe Ya'll have heard of him? :) Please pray for me for I do feel alone a lot, that I can, with what short time that is left, continue to have my lamp oil full and my full Armor of GOD on everyday, because I am still failing in certain areas of my life, and have issues with not feeling worthy, I really hope my name is found in the Book of Life, and that I can be effective enough to save someone else. I myself am ready to go Home...sometimes too ready, I fight with horrible feelings at times and most remember that I am under attack, for we are already on the enemy's turf so to speak. Thank you for taking the time to read my words. I just could use some prayer from others I feel.
