There is a youtuber who has a ton of videos on life there. It's pretty normal except everyone is super strict on layering up to go outside, keeping the cars running, insulation, and staying in motion when outdoors to keep your body temp up. Once inside though, most places will have like a clothing room, where when you arrive, you basically take the warm layers off, and then they are in normal clothes doing normal things. Also, these are winter temps, not year round, so for anyone wondering how do they do it, how do they build things and survive all year long, know that there is summer where residents are in shorts and tshirts and the temps are between 60-80F.

I am from the Urals, Perm. The coldest weather I remember in my entire life was -40 degrees Celsius. At first, when you just leave the house, you don't feel the cold. But after walking 100 meters, you realize that it's hard for you to breathe because of the cold.

As an African living in Italy during winter I dress like those living in Yakutsk. I always thought Italy is one of the coldest places.. the winter here is no joke 🥶❄️🤗

Я тоже родом с дальнего севера, только с Норильска. По сути жизнь не сильно отличается, просто на улицу одеваться чуть теплее, ну и в школу можно часто не ходить из-за сильных ветров. Самое удивительное для меня было, это когда я переехал оттуда в Санкт-Петербург и начал замерзать иногда зимой дома из-за слабого отопления, в отличие от Норильска, где оно работает на полную мощность и дома всегда тепло.
