Lets not forget the fact that DJI offered Gopro a contract using Gopro's camera on their drones but they didnt accept it, remember when Gopro released the karma? It backfired right? And now, dji is catching up on the action camera field(which is CURRENTLY ruled by Gopro), if only Gopro accepted that offer, PERFECT COMBINATION!

I am a dancer and I want to purchase a camera for dance videos. Do you recommend the GoPro as a good option for recording videos of people moving very rapidly in the same place, from a distance similar to that of people who dance on TikTok? (I would make more elaborate videos where maybe I'll be a bit further away from the camera).

One thing that nobody seems to care about but it's a huge advantage for the DJI is that it has a constant white balance feature for underwater shots. 10m or 16m is mostly the same because you can use a case, but the auto whitebalance is a game changer if you are a diver and want to use one of these cameras for real action.

Hi Werner, thanks a lot for your test. I change to the Action 3 because of the many errors of the GoPro. I have a GoPro 8 Black with klicking in the tone, sometimes the camera didn't start and sometimes the camera didn't shut down. As I find in Youtube from other users the problem is also in Action 11. I'm very angry about this - why did GoPro not solve this problems?

I would say that the DJI has the more user friendly and intuitive menus in most cases.

The DJI is also supposed to get 10 bit colour in a firmware upgrade.
But I understand you can only test what is available at the time.🙂

Not needing that stupid media mod or external mic adapter for the DJI is huge, it just needs a usb c to 3.5mm that’s a huge win in my book

I own the Action 2, and last year I remember most reviewers felt it created SLIGHTLY more detailed 4k than the hero 10 (which seems to be as detailed as the 11). But everyone has noted the detail in the action 3 is far worse than the hero 10/11. Can you confirm the action 2 is actually sharper than the action 3? Or am I missing something here? Thanks for the video, you do probably the best device to device comparison videos.

Wow thanks for this video. The image quality of the GoPros are impressive. And even though you like the softness of the DJI when taking a selfie video… I just thought it was impressive how well the GoPro picks up all the details of your skin texture.
Kinda neat how the DJI has longer battery runtime… but I prefer the superior image quality of the GoPro and don’t mind carrying extra batteries. Batteries are rather inexpensive after all.
