If only Apple had put the new camera in the regular pro as well. I’m now torn between buying the size I actually want, vs the camera system is like. Ultimately I may end up not buying at all as a result of feeling like there was an intent to not include the better camera not as an engineering decision but as a hook to buy a higher cost item.

The iPhone mini sharp edges is perfect. My iPhone 13 Pro with sharp edges was my first iPhone I ever used a case with. I always hated sharp edges, loved the iPhone X look and feel.

I'm staying with my 14 Pro Max. For my usage, it's fine. I haven't had the battery issues others have. The titanium will save a little over .6 oz so, nbd. Maybe the 17 for me, or the 18. I'm done with yearly upgrades. Same for the watch. I just picked up the Ultra off swappa for a decent price and it's in pristine condition. Looking forward to seeing what future improvements Apple comes up with and also looking forward to iOS 17. I enjoy your content Jerry!

I won't be upgrading for a while since I recently upgraded from a 6S Plus to a base model 14. If experience is any indicator the 14 will last me a long time.

Can't remember which recent laptop it was, but the "Midnight" (a very dark blue) was roundly criticized for showing fingerprints; and yet just about every video I've watched this evening, everyone's jumping on this new "dark" blue.

Are you still happy with your MAX sized phone? What would you do if they included the 5x lens in the 15 Pro model as well? Would you still choose the MAX model? I've been using iphone X for 6 years and I'm ready for an upgrade. But I'm a little concerned about the size change. But also I don't want to miss that 5x telephoto feature too. I'm very confused :)))

Dear friends, I'm writing something general about the battery of the cell phones in Apple. I think that the Apples are very good, but they can make a battery for a longer time because if in an Ultra watch they know how to make it last for two or three days, then even in a cell phone that we work with all day, they can make a battery for several days and not only For a few hours, I think it's something that is legitimate to ask for, especially because of our need to work with our phones, take pictures, do work related to writing, and all kinds of other things. I’m upgrading my 12 Pro to a 15+. I’m upgrading for my own personal needs. I don’t really take many photos or videos so I don’t really need the ultra high quality cameras. Which all the tech talk is way over my head.

I wanted to get the iPhone 15 pro max because of the size. But unfortunately I think I have to get the pro because I really care about picture quality and I take many more pictures in the 3x-4.9x range then 5x plus and the quality in that range would be better on the pro. It’s a tough choice because I wanted the bigger size and bigger battery but I want my 3x zoom replacing the 5x I really dislike.

Blue 15 Pro Max. I upgrade each year. Apple seriously cheaped out on the cord. I guess they figured people have thunderbolt 3 and 4 cords, which I do. Update: order a pro max for me and pro for my son. Both in blue. I also use decluttr to trade in my phone. I got 710 for my 14 pro max vs 650 from apple.

Thanks Jerry for the update. I’m at work and wasn’t able to watch Apple’s latest event. But I’ll watch it in the morning, with a fresh cup of Juan Valdez best!!!. By the way, love that Ugreen charger, cute. Reminds me of the movie “Wall-E”. Under special features, there’s a short video where there’s is a robot called “BURN-E”. Hilarious what transpires with that robot. Looks like the Ugreen, but I’d digress. I’ve gotta explore that new “periscope-like camera”, interesting engineering. Titanium…..that metal used in the SR-71 Blackbird. Difficult to process, making the so expensive. In my case, I use the Otterbox ….case, the industrial type to protect my phone. Just getting a Plus model, I want USB C, it’s ridiculous that Apple has held off this long and are doing it now because they HAVE to. After this upgrade, I won’t be buying a new phone from Apple for a very long time. Might even switch to android if they continue their anti consumer business tactics
