Good tips. One thought about your mower accessories. Use velcro straps instead of zip ties so you can take them off when you store your mower, then put them back on for the next time. Also, if you have a riding mower that shuts off if you get out of the seat, make a docking spot with velcro or some type of clips to hold one of those extended reach wand grabber thingies (that's a technical term 😏). You can also stick a 5 gallon bucket between your feet. That way, you can pick up trash or small branches without getting off of the mower.

I've been on a lawn care crew for the last 4 years. My #1 tip is to make sure you blow the clippings away from the road and always make sure to weed eat so the string is spinning the opposite direction of the house or cars. This will save you a lot of trouble.

Being new to snow, this winter, we got a snow thrower. We opted for the 60v greenworks since we figured we were buying into a system not just getting a tool. We've got the 21" snow thrower, 18" chainsaw, 26" self propelled lawn mower and 16" trimmer. All have worked great! So much better than gas. Nice to see other people I respect making the same choice, it makes me feel a little more reassured I made a good choice! Thanks for your videos!

I'm like that dry lube lawn mower tip because I hate cleaning the bottom of electric mowers because they say not to hose them off so hopefully this will reduce the effort after each mow, thanks April.

I use a chain hoist installed in my shed to lift my mowers to easy work height to clean them. I also use a cradle made from an old ratchet strap to lift them to keep them controlled

Good job April and I've got a tip for you every now and then take the bed liner out and clean the bed so it won't rust away. Take care and see you on your next video.

I got my mom an electric blower for Christmas and she loves it for blowing out her garage and the driveway. So much lighter and easier to use than a gas one. I also definitely will be making her the dolly and trash can combo! She loves to pick up sticks on her property.

Last tip; use PVC tube mounted on handle to store fishing rod and basket to hold tackle box when mowing glass near river property. Finish mowing and go fishing. Perfect day.

Thanks for some great tips. I have found an easier way to break down leaves. I mow them in the mulching mode on my mower. Then I add the grass catcher and mow them up. Makes quick work of the job and whatever the mower doesn't collect makes good mulch/fertilizer for the lawn. Sure beats raking leaves all fall.

April - Thanks for the tips. I used to do the trick with the plastic tarp when my family and I lived in Missouri in the Ozarks. We had a yard with a copious number of oak trees that dropped a boatload of leaves in the fall, and another load in the spring. I cashed in a week's worth of vacation and bought a push blower to moved the leaves onto the tarp and then drug them to the dumping spot for the city - it worked very well for us too. Blessings to you and your family.
