Thank you. I have been watching a guy on YouTube named Dr Travis Shaddox. He has a PhD in Turf Science. The site is called Turfgrass Epistemology. He is slowly debunking many on the YouTube influencers myths. Turns out, there is minimal to no science to support what the hucksters are selling. The minimalist approach (Cultural practices like proper mowing, watering, pre emergent, and minimal fertilizer for effect) is what is supported by his research and the science. Good to see you back.

I'm in a similar area latitudinally (NE AL) with a bermuda lawn, as well as a husband and dad, so I really appreciate the simplicity of this channel! Keep up the great work!

Also…. I got the golden ticket on my new lawn (2seasons) from your advice! Happy to see a totally brown yard this winter. Had to hand pick a couple greens in a bad patch about 1-2’ wide this winter but that’s it!!!

Good to see you back Travis.
Wow that’s a different landscape to what I’am used to seeing…beautiful snow.
We are suffering from heatwaves and humidity here in Sydney.
I’am mowing the my lawn twice a week to keep it under control.

Sir, I've watched you off and on the past 3 years. Just subbed. When I bought my home (sept of i cant remember year) my yard needed work. I searched YouTube and found a guy who was made rich selling fert to his subscribers. Said youtuber has added more products to make it so complex and makes it seem like work (I'm not retired so i can't do everything he suggests)
Looking back, I really wish YouTube directed me to you first. I find your no bs approach very easy and doable/atrainable

1.5’ of snow in northern Illinois and we just got through the -15°F (-35 windchill) weather here. I like green grass but also don’t mind the break!

What up Travis! That's why my zero turn is down for the maintenance count right now getting some new belts and the idler pulleys greased up for spring. I learned to do that sort of maintenance when it's not needed! 👍💯♥️🇺🇸
Was just thinking about you yesterday and poof you're here! 🤣

Travis hi, I live in southwest Texas and I need a recommendation on a granular pre emergent for Bermuda lawn. Last year I had a contractor put down a liquid pre emergent. Like to do a little more lawn care myself. Thanks for all you help.
