What’s so weird is if you get on google and look at Antarctica there’s this mountain range that’s blurred out purposefully but you can see tons of colors like a rainbow crystal city…. Makes me wonder

Byrd was a pioneer in mapping Antarctica’s geography & using aviation tech to do it. Little America was a weather base. The goal in the 30s was to get the best state of the art weather equipment & wireless technology of the day established at the south pole to transmit to weather bases back in the US. It was theorized then that all global weather patterns & climate originate in Antarctica. If they put weather bases at the pole & eventually in the future automate it when that tech comes around the meteorologists can get improved predictions on forecasting.
