Mr Mohan Das Pai, the picture is distorted if 5 crore income taxpayers are placed in one bracket.
The middle -class is already paying 64% taxes, @ 33% income tax, 18% GST, and road tax, house tax, land tax, NH tolls, petrol tax, electricity tax which works out to 64%. Nirmala Sitaraman will make it a law in the next budget if you make these suggestions during the pre-budget period.

Please analyze the surplus income, of the middle class, senior citizens, and pensioners who form 90% of the taxpayers. The salaried- class is the only group that pays TDS - taxes correctly.
The middle class is burdened with 64% taxes. Please deduct their EMI for Education loan, home and car loans and insurance premium and expenses for looking after their parents. In the absence of any social security system, should they save some money for post-retirement life. 90% of the income taxpayers are earning less than Rs 8 lakhs per annum. After, providing for the above-said expenses, their monthly income is a meager Rs 25, 000/- Can they adopt a family?
Why can't Pais, Ambanis, and Adanis adopt more than 1 family? Please make a practical suggestion.

Is Chandra Babu running an NGO or a government? Why do we pay taxes? Why is the government not able to punish black money holders? We do not want a government that speaks like an NGO, tax payers money is wasted on such governments.

If tax payers are helping towards poor people in terms of adopting or donating with some amount, government should give tax exemption for that amount so that many people may come forward and adopt this concept.

50℅ of Bihar's population is very poor. It took 75 years to reach this appreciable level. In another 75 years we can hope it will attain 100℅. When we talk about the largest Democracy in the world, we conveniently pretend or avoid to frankly say "How many Billions our Family Owned Political Parties and their Netas made. Many have learnt to forget the pangs of hunger.

One thing that is heartening and becoming common nowadays is that the common man has started losing faith in the government doing anything that is good for them. They are realising that every politician out there is a morally depraved, power hungry narcissist who wouldn't lift a finger unless they get something better in return.

The people of India are coming up and taking the cause for improving their country themselves. This is the Indian spirit 🇮🇳🇮🇳

Out of 145 crore population, only 2 crore people pay Income tax. Then how it will work....? Also tax payer's above a limit can only afford such expenses. It is a joke that, In India only 2 crore people are paying Income tax. ..So the govt. should exactly locate how many people are liable to pay Income tax. A country wide survey should be done on factual basis. Also, the govt. should find out how many crores of population who infiltrated in the country and settled in each state and are they accounted under our poverty line population. ...? India needs a zero based economic research and remedy and the present Tax system should be completely re-written considering the the basic fixation of a family standard purchasing power in monetary terms. Then only the govt. should look for the country's ecnomic growth needed funds for future developments and Investments.
