I think this parameter should be addressed in the next delimitation -

People cannot take both the money and the representation count, as that would mean “paisa bhi lenge, aur authority bhi rakhenge”

Those who want the taxpayer money (from richer states) must cede greater number of MPs in Parliament to the richer states during delimitation 2026.

Taking money in garb of poor population and topping it with delimitation on population-basis deprives the (higher tax-paying) richer states of both money and ability to hold the poor states accountable for the tax paid by the richer states.

Delimitation should clearly give choice :

Parliamentary power or Tax payer money. Both cannot go to poorer states.

Not a democratic or fair deal, this is like the raw deal given to AP in 2014.
