Thanks for the info. I go the cheap route and purchased (from Amazon) the $14 tube of Plus White 5-Minute teeth gel and teeth tray. (Once I had the tray, I just re-ordered the $9 gel tubes!) Before bed, I brush, floss, and then simply use q-tips to apply the gel directly to my teeth and then cover with the tray to prevent wiping off the gel. No UV light needed. I set a timer for 20 minutes and then rinse. I obtained excellent results that my dentist even complimented me on. I notice I have the whitest teeth in all pictures featuring myself with friends.

Here to tell people what absolutely does work.

First, make sure you brush twice a day with an electric toothbrush is you have one. I had a very expensive one at a bargain price and i dont visit the dentist often at all so i decided to pick one up to try and look after my teeth the best i can. An electric toothbrush oscillates so polishes the teeth more efficiently and gives a deeper clean. When there is staining involved this counts massively.

What i have found that most definitely works for me is the teeth whitening strips that you stick to the upper and lower teeth separately, then i use the same sort of light that this girl in the video is using!

I tried the gel and it was just a mess. More hassle than the worth of it. You cant swallow the gel so your mouth is overflowing with saliva and gel for the duration of the treatment.

With the strips they can be kept in for 30mins to 2hrs and u can swallow easily etc. I use them for 1 to 1.5hrs along with the blue light and after just two uses (morning time after brushing) i already noticed some of the staining going and my teeth starting to brighten up. I imagine if i carry this on over a week to 10days that my teeth would be considerably whiter.

The trick is to watch out for coffee, cigarettes, anything that stains the teeth, brush morning and night and after meals if you feel you absolutely need to and do this procedure once every 2/3 weeks to keep on top of things.

I would be very careful of overusing any type of products on the teeth because lets face it its not natural, its for vanity purposes really, lets be real.

For somebody like me with very light light staining the teeth whitening strips with the light combined for 1hr or so works well.

You can get whitening strips in local supermarkets or from somehwere like amazon.

Excuse you. Baking soda is the fancy name for Sodium Bicarbonate.

Then he polishes your teeth with a rubber nozzle attached to a rotating tool to polish off the penetrated material that is discoloring your teeth and it also makes your teeth glossy. One other thing a person should remember is NOT TO ALLOW ANY FORM OF PEROXIDE TO TOUCH YOUR GUMS. That is what the dentist is there for to make sure the peroxide only comes in contact with your teeth. For those want to know, this product will not work on heavily stained teeth.
