I was in the British Army, and Veterans here sometimes get flight perks etc. Plus I'm looking at visiting The States next year.

Also on a side note, I saw you were Coast Guard, and it made me think of the great quote from The Simpsons:

Hey Julian! Randomly came across your channel! I am planning to take my first Space-A flight from Yokota AF Base in Japan to Kadena AB in Okinawa in a few weeks with my 5 dependants :) I'm also planning to stay at the OKUMA Air Force Recreation Area in Okinawa which is substantially cheaper than other resorts on Okinawa. Should make for a very cheap but very fun vacation! Thanks for the tips!

(QUESTION AT THE END) Hello, I am 16 (17 in Aug) years old and will be in the 11th grade this year. I am really trying to keep my grades sky high, memorize/research all I can (about the USCG), and get physically fit.. ALL to prepare and be as successful as possible in my USCG career. My whole family supports me in this! I am very excited! I want to ensure a better future, both for myself and my future family. So often I see young adults barely getting by, or living off other people. I don't want that. Not if I can help it. Which is why I am going after this with all I've got.. anyway..---> Do coasties qualify for VA benefits like other branches do? Is there a certain amount of time you have to serve to qualify? I heard when you’re 100% disabled you can only fly in the continental United States. Why is this why can’t we fly from the East Coast to Germany?
