thank you very much, you gave me an idea and it worked, so instead of dissembling the back cover I pressed on the phone firmly on the back of the phone in the area where the connector is and it worked! so do that before you remove the cover it might work and if it doesn't then obviously go ahead and remove it.

* ok so after reading some comments i realized I wasn't the only one with this method, anyway proves it does actually work ! 😅

i've been dropping my a71 every now and then and charging has become a bit of a problem having to adjust every time until it just stopped charging all together. i smacked my phone all sides, changed my charger 3 times, cleaned the port, restarted, called out to all the gods and it still wouldn't charge.

Hey! Just pressing the back where the ribbon is located makes my phone work! Thanks for the idea but disassembling might be an overkill .. when you can just massage the phone where its disconnected

Note to any future Samsung A series holders. NEVER DROP ANY A-SERIES PHONE. My heart almost sunk because I would've either pay up $$$ to get the charging fixed or outright buy a new phone and lose alot of video recording data.

Such a small but VERY impactful defect that Samsung needs to address and fix
