You're a lifesaver! I panicked the first time this happened thinking I would have to replace a part of the phone. I need it for work so I couldn't just be without it for an extended period of time. It worked! Thanks. I had a bit different scenario. I had a grey circle with the lightning bolt and the phone was not responding to anything. When I unplugged it and held the power button and volume up button down while plugging it back it, it came back with a text screen with several text line displayed with one highlighted like it was preselecting to reboot. I pressed the power button quickly and the phone rebooted.

worked for my samsung tablet . You just have to hold the volume up button (the top of the volume button) and the power button at the same time for a good 10 seconds. You will know it works when a screen which shows 0 percent batter pops up then it should bring u to your home screen.

Similar issue on my s22 ultra. It would show the charging circle when plugged in but didn’t show any percentage that it was charging. Volume down + power button did nothing. Your video didn’t get me to the reboot menu but as soon as I tried the button combination the phone restarted and the phone showed the percentage within the circle which confirms it started to charge. Thanks either way. Helped me sort my issue out

Only a few weeks ago, my battery would hold its charge for, like, two days. Then I broken the screen and took it to be repaired. Since getting it back I've been having all sorts of weird charging issues! The battery dies without warning. Then, when I plug it in to charge, it remains on this grey, "none shall pass" screen for ages and then, about three hours later, I'll check it again and it'll slowly be charging, which is another thing. Before the repair, it would charge so quickly! Now, it seems to take forever to get anywhere! This evening I've been having this issue where it just won't get by 57 percent full, regardless of how long it's plugged in and to what. It's been making me bats!
I just tried the reboot you demonstrated. Here's hoping something comes of it. My next attempt will be at the freezer gambit. 🤣 Here's just crossing every bit of me that will cross. Thanks for the Videos!

Thanks for the helpful video! My phone was having issues charging lately and today it gave me a reboot screen and I didn't know what to do. Then it got stuck on this charging screen and wouldn't respond to anything. It's a 5 year old phone so it does need to be replaced but I was worried that I wouldn't be able to transfer my data to a new phone when I got one. Not only did it work, my phone is almost fully charged. I thought the phone was toast for sure! I mean, it probably is toast, but at least I was able to restart it and get it to charge and turn on again!

did not work. there is a grey circle on a grey background with a lightening bolt thru the circle. Nothing else displays. No On, Off, Restart -- nothing about this solution worked, sadly. I held down the Volume Up and Power for 90 seconds -- with charger plugged in -- literally nothing happened.
