Kolkata Doctor Murder Case Latest | Visuals Show Large-Scale Destruction After Vandalism At Hospital

Kolkata Doctor Murder Case: Women in Kolkata and several other parts of the country hit the streets around midnight today to protest against the horrific rape and murder of a 31-year-old doctor at Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. The incident has shaken the country and triggered nationwide protests. At demonstrations in medical colleges and hospitals across the country, doctors have demanded security on duty.

Amid the protests, a mob vandalised the hospital where the post-graduate trainee doctor was raped and murdered. As the protest turned violent, the cops fired tear gas and resorted to lathi-charge the agitators to bring the situation under control.
