Kolkata doctor rape-murder case: Will India's apex court fast-track justice? | WION

India Supreme Court is hearing a Suo Moto case related to the rape and murder of a trainee doctor in Kolkata. A bench headed by Chief Justice of India Dhananjaya Y. Chandrachud during the hearing said that the country cannot wait for another rape case for changes to take place on the ground. Crime prevention against women
1. Crime prevention is the most important step we have to observe.

2. Men & women have different separate queues in counters at railway station. Similarly, women & men have to maintain certain safe distance.

3. We got freedom in 1947 but some understand it in a wrong way to cross their limits & end up committing a crime.

4. Women, girls, children & babies have to be taken care of by their parents to the full extent

5. Due to various reasons some people start committing crime against women & special counselling must be given to them.

6. Men & women must maintain a safe distance. Women & girl child must never give chance to a stranger or a known person to touch them.

7. Every single case must be registered with the police & immediate action must be taken by the police.

8. Crime against women. Girls & women must never trust anyone. They must guard themselves & defend at the initial stage.

9. Every women & girl must be given special training in self defence.

10. Finally, all women & girls must be given a special training in the Police Force like creating a special wing for ALL INDIA WOMEN SELF DEFENCE FORCE.
This must include every women & girls.
They must be given special uniform & badge. Women must wear the badge daily though in civil dress.
