The protest by Junior Doctors is ongoing. In relation to the R.G Kar Medical College incident, the Junior doctors have put forward a new set of demands. These demands include the provision of adequate toilet facilities for doctors, the installation of CCTVs in government hospitals, accommodation for doctors, increased security for female doctors, and a democratic working environment. The doctors have also restated their call for the removal of the health secretary and the withdrawal of the government directive that prohibits female doctors from working night shifts.
