Remember how every king, except Lily, left a sword behind when they swore to protect the Empty Throne? Since Lily didn't stay in Marie Geois. What if Lily did leave behind a sword?
She left behind Imu, her sword that ate a Hito Hito no Mi, model Umibozu. Hence the reason why Imu is obsessed with Lily, Imu wants to return to her.
I am saying this because Imu being Imu Nerona is something the people in the world believe, while Imu has remained silhouette. If Imu really was Imu Nerona, why wouldn't Oda reveal their face? I feel like Imu's true nature is still something meant to shock us and bringing back the concept of items that ate Devil Fruits, which was introduced in Alabasta, would be something cool to do.

Nero + Verona = Nercona. Romeo and Juliet take place in Verona, Italy. Joy Boy is Romeo, Lily is Juliet, and Imu is Count Paris (the guy supposed to marry Juliet). Paris is killed by Romeo. Imu is having PTSD from Joyboy's haki because he was killed by Joyboy. The perpetual youth surgery saved him when he should be dead. Unlike Romeo and Juilet, I do agree that Imu betrayed Joyboy after he found out Lilly and Joyboy was an item.

Makes sense why St. Jaygarcia Saturns was the only one with a dual title. It was Science AND Defence, his story line was focused on Scientific research and St. Figarland Garling is focused on Defence since he leads the God's Knights. The rest of the elder stars only have titles with single domains.

Watch it be something goofy that yes Imu is Lili, but the reason she's obsessed with Vivi is that the opi opi no mi "immortality" might not be quite immortal since it's just word of mouth and someone who lives 1k years might as well be immortal.

The reason Imu wants Vivi, is because of some deal where she needs a descendant of the bloodline to transfer into in order to remain immortal. Like she needs to swap the hearts like we've seen Law do.

That way you can be immortal but need a new body every few hundred years or something (kind of like Kenjaku from JJK)

I think they are the first devil fruit user but instead of a power it possessed them with the devil fruit soul itself hence why they can live forever or at least a really long time

I just had a thought about a theory, tho it's very light and unfounded.

Well, IF Imu is the sea devil and somehow has a connection with devil fruits, that could explain why people die after consuming more than one devil fruit.

Could be that Imu is somewhat connected to all devil fruits, and when two devils get in the body of a person, Imu's strength is raised over that person, making it possible for him to kill them. With this theory, it could be that Black Beard either works for Imu and that's why he isn't affected, or that he found a way to dodge Imu's powers over devil fruits.

Or it could be something else, like the two devils ( devil fruit consciousness/powers ) clashing when eaten and destroying the person, like your antibodies fighting a disease, and accidentally, attacking your own cells.

Or it could be some sort of fail safe put in place by whoever created the devil fruits, so no greedy person or ruler can go around devouring all devil fruits.

I am curious who the rest of the first 20 leaders, the kingdoms where they'refrom & creators of the World Government were. I know that's a stretch to happen, but there could be a book that tells who they all were.
Edit: BTW, I have seen theories about Nami possibly being a Celestial Dragon & member of the Nerona family. We don't know who Her real family was since She & Nojiko were adopted.
