Maybe yours didn't come 3 level silicone as mine did. I think it is a design flaw they won't fit in the charging case with the silicone plugs on. The silicone plugs offer the most hearing protection so why not design the case to accommodate them?

I really like airpods pro gen 2 being a mechanic. They only block maybe half as much noise as actual earplugs but the transparency mode is amazing. Can hear everything around you and they have a decibel limit so loud noises just get turned down.

Have you ever used Peltor ws alert xp or Peltor ws alert xpi? They are great and virtually every construction and metal worker use them in Sweden.

You know 3m makes over-the-ear ear protection that wraps around the back of your head in addition to the normal over-top of your head? I wear them often.

Try Raycon...they're the best..you'll throw all that other stuff out...👍
I wear my Raycon weeks at a time...and then I'll charge them in the case overnight and they're good for another month or more...pr8ced great and are the best bottom line

Those look great but you might also want to try some bone conductive open ear headphones too. l've had several pairs made byAftershockz over the past five or six years that have worked really well and as a bonus they get better with earplugs
