Yeah a streaming service clause shouldn’t deferred a company from a wrongful death claim like this.

This is so damaging for the reputation of Disney, a multi-billion dollar company. I hope the husband keeps up the fight and a judge dismisses that stipulation that has NOTHING to do with their case. That clause should not even be legal in a Disney Plus subscription. Clauses should only apply to what you are signing up for. Not all of their subsidiaries. I hope everyone hears this story. It's both heartbreaking and appalling. And I hope people boycott Disney and cancel their subscriptions to stand with this family. Also for their own protection to get that clause removed from Disney Plus subscriptions.

What does one have to do with another? She didn't die from the streaming service, she died from a resturant at So confusing!

My jaw dropped when I heard how they are trying to spin it legally.

If husband can’t sue his relatives and friends can sue on his behalf

She didn’t die from a streaming service. That clause should be illegal.

No way in hell that'll hold up in court.

Even if someone read that "clause", no way would common sense tell them that would cover EVERYTHING about "disney"...."trial membership and you can't sue us if we run you over with a cart at disney world"? SMDH

That Disney+ subscription has nothing to do with them having diner at a restaurant on Disneys property.

Disney has zero chance that the Disney plus trial will be a reason to throw out of court 😂

Disney has gone from a once loved company to being greedy dregs of the earth.

Wait, I'm dumb. Is this story saying this woman had an allergic reaction at one of their establishments but because they signed up for Disney+, their streaming service, they can't sue Disney at all?

This is such a disgusting stance for Disney to take, as if they haven't put this family through enough already. So shameful.

They dont even have the human decency to say "sorry for your loss". Cancel Disney, stop watching anything from them. They dont care about you.

If everyone with a food allergy decided to forego their Disney Trips because of this it would change over night.

This better not hold up. A freaking Disney+ subscription agreement?? A one month trial? Ridiculous!
