The Moment Tammy Peterson Became a Catholic

Tammy Peterson says the last five years have been building up to this moment when she was confirmed and entered the Catholic Church during the Easter Vigil Mass at Holy Rosary Church in Toronto. EWTN's Colm Flynn went to Canada to document the moment and interviewed Tammy, her sponsor Queenie Yu, and her husband Jordan Peterson.

Just got confirmed on this Sunday's Divine Mercy. I am 40 wks plus pregnant and my baby and I both got anointed with the oil, took communion and were blessed that day ❤

I don't cry easily but I cried watching this and thinking of God's magnificence and the graces he pours on us if only we open ourselves to accepting them. God bless Tammy and give her health and may her story move others to believe in and accepting God in their lives.

I have called up a parish once and went on a general confession and it was beautiful. Confession is the best therapy. If God blesses you with a good spiritual director and you get a good direction, no matter what comes your way you’ll taste the Father here on earth. As a Catholic the best thing that happens to me and I’m still on that journey is finding joy in suffering and learning to suffer well.
