I had a friend from China, she said she loves her family but there was no way in hell she'd ever go back there. Said something like if you do, there's a chance you won't return or something

The visa process to enter the UK is far more complicated which may takes weeks or months. For tourists, the odds of meeting a brit whom can communicate in one's own language is almost impossible. To your "surprise", there is definitely NO Asian or Africa breakfast served in any British hotel.

As everyone is welcoming 2024, majority of British mindset r still in their superior colonial time, brits were spoiled by the world way too long to see the reality.

Your visa experience is the same as any Chinese trying to get into any western countries.

A friend of mine was going from America to Europe and basically had to do the same thing they wouldn't let him get a get a Visa without a return ticket and he didn't even know if you would get approved so he wouldn't have a way of getting that ticket refunded

Funny that I got done forms with the french government to go live in the uk, the mess with visa having to go back to France after 6 month in England with my fiancé was heartbreaking and then an annoying trip to Paris for a marriage visa to the private visa office since the uk prefer to use private companies then official embassy, I sympathize a lot with your experience considering I’m gonna be married in February best of luck on your side and I love you videos btw.

This sounds nightmare(ish), tedious and not user-friendly at all, I sympathise with your experience greatly! They ought to revise their procedures!

Very Interesting, different from all other travel vlogers who also visit China for the first time recently, that they were shotting nearly everything and every where, from airport to hotel, the streets, cars, shops and restaurants, as well as their interaction with local people, in DETAIL and by REAL TIME by streaming WALKing along!  Your vlog not only has not much footage about living China, but carefully selected static images( like street with blown around leaves😁, to indicate something?  )  close ups and some meaningless city outskirt video clips, and dedicated great amount of  time talking how difficult the visa process is ( indicate something? ), but what your interpretation about China are also totally contrary to what all other travellers to China for the first time.  It seems that you are trying to avoid showing something about China that may be not fit into the images the Western media wants to people to believe.🤣

Didnt watch full vlog, just so many misinformation and biased interpretation about China here, for example, 1) most hotels in China Accept forigners, only some don't, many western vlogers visited China recently, don't have any issues. 2)  it is NOT true the police will check ID of foreigners on the street, NEVER heard of,   and no foreigners has ever reported about such things!  apprently you are trying to fit your interpretation into the biased and even  demonized view by the West. 3) don't know which and what kind of hotel you live in, NEVER heard that hotels receive forign guests only provide local breakfast to forign guests, for Western style breakfast - bread and milk, ceresl is also quite common even among young Chinese, and many forigners need to go out of the hotel to try local food. ....4) not sure about other smaller cities in China, in city like Shanghai and Beijing, I think they might be cities you visited if you visit China for the first time,   is much quieter than many cities in UK, for most cars are EV and honking is rare,   and one German vloger "Ken Abroad"who visited China just 2 weeks ago said he was so surprised that a city of 20+ million people were so quiet and we told by locals that honking is prohibited.

It seems that you are trying your best to show China Western media want people to believe rather your genuine experience, for What?
