I finally received the parts from Amp Rides to get the Volt 1500 ST operational. IT IS POWERFUL. I'm over 300 pounds and planning to lose weight riding. On its initial ride, the Volt 1500ST performed great. East Tennessee hills were no problem. On a flat straight road, I hit 30mph using the throttle only. This bike has exceeded my expectations.

Bought this bike 3 weeks ago. Awesome ride. I don't think the seat height is an issue at all. I am 6 foot as well and I have the seat a couple of inches above the 25 amp hour battery. I just hold the front brake when dismounting and their is no problem. Very nice video as always. Thanks for your expertise. Ronald

I have an amp rides limited edition. Pretty much the same thing. The video that determined my decision for what ebike and company I wanted to go with, Josh explained the holes in the wheels. The purpose for those holes, as you weren't sure, is for balancing.

Great review. Nice bike. Amp Rides includes some nice details like the tall gearing and 203 front rotor. But you are right that the water bottle bolts location is pretty funny 😁

Wow thats the fastest ebike I've seen so far in reviews, that thing is in moped territory

Just spoke to Amp Rides. They were sold on June 1st, 2023 to a larger firm that owns several e-bike companies. I kind of wish I had known this before placing my order for the Volt StepThru. Ordered on July 7th. Delivered July 19th with a bent derailleur hanger. Contacted Amp Rides and was told parts were being shipped but have not received them as of July 28. So, I still haven't been able to ride my $2K bike almost three weeks after I ordered it. They say they will still have parts available and intend to grow the Amp Rides company and plan on being around for a long time.

Citizen forgot to ask, r u aware Amprides has an Apex step thru? It has full suspension
n 2 batteries a 52v 25ah n a 52v 20ah. Comes with bmx bars but is not foldable due to
The full suspension. Hope u get to review one of these before mine is due in May.

Great looking bike. The look of the bike, the low step thru, power and speed makes it very desirable. But, how does it compare to the Wired e-bike? Thanks for the review.

The holes in the rim are for keeping the weight down of the rim

Is there a drag race against the Wired bike coming soon?

This e bike volt ds 1500w single motor 52v vs the dual 750w front and rear motor 60v e bike ... my question is head to head witch one is the better choice ? You have reviewed both bikes on your channel..

I love the look of this ebike. But too tall for my short legs!

Super review. Do dual 750watt motors have more power/torque than a single 1500 watt motor? I saw a previous recent review by you that had your fastest climb on your hill test? SkipRay, Kerry, Ireland.

This has me excited. I bought two Lectric XP 3.0 for my wife and me. I like mine, but there are some very steep hills that require pedaling. Sadly, I have some leg issues that pedaling has aggravated. Other than the front fork, I like this. How much better is the fork over a Lectric 3.0? I'm 250 pounds. I know this blows the Classification of 1, 2, and three, but so what? HP in cars and motorcycles isn't limited by law. Logically, why should it be on ebikes? We all have speed limits to obey.

Very nice bike 🚲!!! Downside for me is (like your Wife) I’m short (5’5”) & that seat height is too tall for me! 28” is my sweet spot, so my feet can be flat on the ground. Being unable to adjust the display 👎🏾 the 🔋 not being pushed back a little 👎🏾 the 🔑 needing to stay in the battery 👎🏾 the thumb throttle being on the LEFT Side…..👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾(why do manufacturers do that)? 🤨🤔 Other than that….great bike! It whoops everything in it’s class (I think). 😆

Hey Bryan, I just put a deposit on the Amp Rides Apex. I know it is a cadence sensor, can you make an adjustment in the display to make it feel like a torque sensor. I know you review the volt and i believe they have the same display, thanks Russ

Remove the seat to charge the battery?
Don't most people wear polarized glasses?
And I'm the same way about breaking the key off in the lock while riding.
Three fairly serious issues.
